Sculpting - Carving
To the left here you can see a photo of a relief carving of a family coat of
arms
(Finch). This was done on a pine bedhead.
Sculpting - Modelling
To the left here, you can see a cold cast bronze figurine study of a Honourable
Artillery Company signaller on patrol. The original sculpture was done in resin
putty on a wire frame.
I was the original inventor
of the "Regi Bear" design (shown here). These were
small cold cast resin teddy bears that wore caps and badges of
the famous
British
Army
Regiments (Regi). They were hand painted and could be mounted
on a wooden plynth.
These were, and still are very popular with the families of soldiers,
airmen and sailors of units that are depicted in these cute figures.
